Vegas Vacation

This is the first of several posts covering our recent Griswold Detten Family Vacation. 

We took the longest "vacation" we have ever taken as a family, driving to Las Vegas and back.  This was a working vacation as we attended the Las Vegas furniture and accessories market. 

One of my favorite pictures taken on the trip was this one of the three older kids at Hoover Dam.

Sam was being ornery, so he didn't make it in the picture. 

I told Avery that she and Rachael should be Breck Girls.  Of course, Avery didn't know what a Breck girl was.

That bridge in the background will be a bypass for the Hoover Dam.  Wait till you see the close up shot.  The next time we pass through, if the bridge is finished, I think I will wait in line at Hoover Dam...that bridge is WAY up there; too high for me to want to cross!
