My computer has been giving me fits the past few days, so I'm finally getting some new pictures uploaded. The first two photos are pretty old -- when Sam was 2-3 weeks old. The girls really love on Sam. Rachael is very protective and reminds me not to drop him. She has even "tattled" on Dennis when she thought he was handling Sam to rough! For someone who says she's doesn't want to be a mother "because it's too much work," she really has the mothering instinct. Today she sang to him for a good 15 minutes while he cooed at her...it was so cute!
Avery, on the other hand, just likes to touch Sam. This results in him being constantly woken during his naps. After observing this behavior, my sister, Jennifer, says that's why he sleeps so good at night -- since he can't hardly sleep during the day.
Jack, who is such a big Star Wars fan, was excited when we found this onesie from GAP; I think Dennis liked it, too...it says "My Dad Rules the Galaxy."
Sam is mastering lots of cute facial expressions -- look at this scowl...you can't see his forehead that well, but Jack did this and Dennis still does!
And of course, Sam's smiles are really coming now. We love trying to make him smile and being rewarded with big grins.
